Children

It's been said that the church is perhaps the last inter-generational institution going. Children are vital to our life at St. Thomas' not only because they are the future, but because their presence now reminds us that God's church is for all people.

Right now our children's program is strong but modest in size. Our two faithful Sunday School teachers and their assistants provide multi-aged classes at the 10:30 service from September through to June. Children are free to go to Sunday School or to stay in the service with their parents or guardians. The 10:30 service also features a regular "children's time" with a story or lesson from the priest.

St. Thomas' now offers a nursery room, providing baby and toddler care during the 10:30 am service. We need volunteers to help out with the nursery. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the church office at 645-3486.

A volunteer screening program, including police record check, is in place for all those who work with children at St. Thomas'.
