When we read history books, often we simply take for granted that the writer was either an eyewitness to the events or had diligently searched out those who were. The events, being faithfully recorded, serve as a reference for us who come afterwards.

One of the few events of Jesus’s life told in all four Gospels.
Jesus knew His hour was almost come when He was to die and He had told His disciples ahead of time of this fact (see Mark 10:32-34). To some, it did not fit with their thoughts of Jesus as the great liberator of the Nation from the tyranny of Rome.
Many had seen His great miracles, heard His teachings.....
